Please help

Hi all...please can anyone help...I inherited these hydrangeas from my late father in law and have kept them lovely all summer, but I went on holiday and came back to this ( see pictures) I don’t know what to do with them...any help appreciated...Tracey.

    I agree, they would be happier in the ground. They are struggling unfortunately. 
    As Philippa says, failing that, much larger pots are the way to go  :)

    Did anyone water them while you were on holiday? On the bright side they are still alive and as others say will be happier in the ground.
  • My father in law had them for many years in these pots and cut them back every year....can’t believe I’ve ruined them..
