It's a clematis. Couldn't tell you which one though - there are loads
Someone here will no doubt have an idea though
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Could be a campanula, there are lots of different ones.

Agree with C. heracleifolia. The flowers have a faint smell reminiscent of scented soap.
