Lemon Balm -

I have several plants that smell of lemon so I am assuming they are Lemon Balm.
They are now just light brown with no leaves.
I want to retain them.
Will seed and start again in Spring or do I need to do anything

Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

    I put a lemon balm plant in my garden 20+ yrs ago - they self-seed freely and pop up all over the garden now. They're also extremely hardy and perennial.

    :) very true! - once established they can be a bu**er to get out

    I've just cut one down in preparation for winter and it is now about a metre across. It self seeds everywhere and is a bit of a pain but the insects like it. "Invasive" just about describes it.

    Mine is in a trough like the mint and so far I have been able to keep it in check. The young leaves are great with lime mint in a Planter's punch and they help the itching from animal bites - wouldn't be without it  :)
