    Its funny you should say that FG because I'd noticed the water level was dropping faster than it used to. Since I've got rid of the YF it has stabilised. Who'd have thought they would drink that much?

    When you look at the thickness of those fleshy roots, I suppose they're probably 90% water!
    Although the pond we had was spring fed, they were taking up huge quantities of water. It was really nice once they were contained, and behaving themselves a bit better  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I was thinking about planting some in an old dustbin or something. Add soil and water?

    We had flags in the big pond, and they had been contained in piles of old tyres, along with mint. They were fine in those. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
