Help to identify shrub please

Hello, 
This was cut back to ground level last winter but has reappeared and grown approx 6ft over the summer does anyone know what it is please? Is it is a tree or shrub?

    it looks like a self-seeded Ash tree. Get rid of it!

    Me too.  It'll grow quickly, mess up that wall and then die badly from the disease that's sweeping across the UK and Europe and killing ash trees.
