One of the weasel or stoat type beasties I think....

Probably a ferret but it's hard to tell. Was this the only pic or did you get any shots of its tail?
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Mink? Any animal rights activists letting things loose near you?
  • I'd say a ferret
  • Polecat?   It’s a bit blurry (not your fault I know).
    Whereabouts (roughly) are you?

    Otter?
Looks ferrety but it's a bit 'chunky', and as @wild edges  says, we'd need to see a tail.

As @Dovefromabove says - your location will help with ideas - or perhaps you have more pix from last night?  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • it's a ferret or polecat/ferret cross by the looks of things
  • The head is broader and blunter than a ferret ... to me that says polecat or, as @treehugger80 says, a polecat x ferret.

  • Cant see the ears clearly, but they look a bit too pronounced for an otter.
The wild mink I’ve seen are not as chunky and very dark in colour.
