    Just don't be too disappointed when those don't work @debra2019;)
    It's also worth looking at some more permanant planting in your border if it's one that you see from the house all year round  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • I do have other shrubs in the garden it’s mostly the front garden a border dividing the two houses my intention was to change it each year to a different colour scheme winter and summer but the dahlias I grew were so nice I wanted to keep them if I could but since I’ve started growing plants from seeds I want to experiment each year with different plants and colours so it’s always different so won’t be too disappointed I’ll just go back to my original plan 🙂

    Sorry @debra2019- I meant not being disappointed about the slug/snail deterrents  ;)
    They do love soft new growth, so you may need to be even more vigilant if you have lots of that sort of planting. It's always worth going out at night in spring to remove as many as possible and dispatch them. It can make a big difference as it allows plants to continue growing well.   :)
