    Depending on your climate and location, Pittosporum is good. There are several varieties, but some are tougher than others. Yew is always popular too.
    I love Hornbeam, although it's not strictly evergreen. It does hold it's foliage over winter though. Beech is very similar. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
