Planting advice.

Hi everyone, I've just bought these two plants for my new border and I wanted to know if it's safe to plant them now when the flowering season has nearly finished. I want to get them in the ground before the frosts come, it is okay to plant them in now?

    I can't quite read the instructions there on the packet @Nicola Balfour but I am sure it will tell you when the best time to plant would be.  However if they were mine I would get them into the ground as soon as possible.  Stand the plants in a bucket of water for 30 minutes or so, dig a hole twice the size of the plant roots plant them in, cover the hole and gently firm the plants down and they should give you lovely flowers next year.  Read the instructions. Once planted water them if the weather is dry for more than a few days.

    Make sure the verbena goes in the sunny side of your garden.

    Both like to be in full sun. You can plant them out now.
