Vine ID please

This popped out of the edge of our lawn. Trimmed it back last fall not knowing what to expect, and it came back. Anyone know what it could be? No sign of flowers.

    We inherited one of these growing round a well in front of the house.  We moved in 3 months after signing the contract and it was heading down the drive in triffif mode so we hacked it back to the well and then kept it tidy but that meant no flowers until this year when we left it a bit longer and didn't remove eevry long stem.

    I suspect cutting yours back has removed the flowering stems so try and train it so you can leave them longer.

    I suspect it was left for dead. It is not planted in the typical-everything in it's place fashion.
