    Not only Native Americans, in Elizabethan England pubs used to charge tanners and dyers to take away barrels of pee. Dyers used urine to make colours permanent and not fade. That's right, if you pee on that bilberry stain it really will never come out.
  • I have an old fashioned brass watering can with a lid and a stopper in the spout. I use it in the bathroom, and empty it in the compost heap when it's full. I've really noticed the compost working faster.
