Laburnum tree

The leaves on this tree, as you can see, have dropped off and it’s quite bare and from what I have read, this may be due to silver leaf. However, we didn’t see how it was affected, if at all, as we were away a few weeks but there are buds growing on the trunk so is it alright or do we need to do anything with it?

I thought that may be the reason but thank you anyway for taking the time to confirm that.
  • My tree looks exactly like that. It did last year too. Snails ravage the leaves over the summer but it does no harm.
