Laburnum tree

The leaves on this tree, as you can see, have dropped off and it’s quite bare and from what I have read, this may be due to silver leaf. However, we didn’t see how it was affected, if at all, as we were away a few weeks but there are buds growing on the trunk so is it alright or do we need to do anything with it?

    My tree looks exactly like that. It did last year too. Snails ravage the leaves over the summer but it does no harm.
