I inherited a rose when we moved into the house. It has a lovely peach coloured bloom which fades to red. Every previous year it has been covered in flowers but this year there have been 6. We landscaped the garden last November and built a new flower bed in the area of the rose. Last year I pruned it right down (as previously) and this year it has grown very leggy but not many flowers. What did I do wrong and how can I avoid it this year?
