Bulbs, Chionodoxa Luciliae Alba, Puschkinia Libanotica, Narcissus New Baby and Ipheion Alberto Casti

Phew, that's a bit of a mouthful.  Has anyone grown these bulbs, and were you happy with them? If you have pictures I would love to see them too.  Are they attractive to early season wildlife?  I am wanting to try something a bit different in my plant pots, tulips don't last well here, and crocus get battered in the wind and rain and just don't last.  I already have lots of Tete a Tete mini daffodils but wanted to add something else with them.

  • I have Ipheion Alberto Casti and it performs very well in my clay soil, although they don't seem to be particularly attractive to insects. I intend to plant more next month.
  • Thank you Alan, wildlife is my main intention for introducing new plants into my garden now, I will take another look at what is available.
