    Oh thanks again after nearly 3 years. Am so into trees at moment.
    Didn't realize at time of first posting that even though this area is highly residential area there are loads of big trees in other gardens. Never noticed them. Now i cant stop looking at them all. And everywhere i go. 

    Havn't touched the oak tree.
    Thanks Dovefromabove and everyone. 

    Highlight this week and probly why i looked up this old post was finding out trees get water from roots but get all the mass from the air.  Can't get over it.
