Problem solving
hi this purple flowered plant is invading my mums garden. Any idea what it is and the best way to halt its progress?

Solanum dulcamara. Dig it up, it's not a huge problem plant

It's woody nightshade. I don't think there's any mystery about controlling it, just keep pulling it out.

Thanks all. I’ll do my best there just seems to be so much of it! It’s times like these I appreciate my pots rather than a “real” garden.

I think it'd be quite quriky up a trellis, they have red berries too... So you could keep it if you have room.
