I don't think any carnivore **** is suitable for domestic compost but I'm no expert😉 The smell from muck spreaders would indicate that it is used on farmland👃

Farmers spread manure from cattle, pigs and poultry using muckspreaders ... never from carnivores!  Totally illegal!

sometimes, in selected areas, the residue from treated sewage is used but this is very highly regulated.

Dove's right - only herbivore muck for fields.  :)
The very thought of using dog/cat s**t as compost, turns my stomach frankly. Each to their own....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Are pigs fed solely on vegetable matter? That's good to know

There are some processed animal by-products (eg gelatine) which can be added to pig feed ... but it is strictly illegal to feed meat to pigs and this is highly regulated throughout the EU.
It is interesting to note that the diet of free range pigs may contain more animal matter than the diet of barn reared pigs, because the free range pigs will rootle for and eat worms and grubs ... and any small mammals they come across.
