Aralia "sun king"

Hi all, can anyone help me? My aralia sun king was planted in spring and took off, loads of growth and reached a good size quickly. Now it has started wilting for no apparent reason!? It's planted in a shady bed next to a fatsia that's doing very well. any help would be appreciated. Thanks .
