Tree Help Please🌳. Can anyone identify what may be going on with our tree?

I'm guessing that's a mulberry tree. The white spots on the trunk look like lichen. The leaves appear to have bacterial leaf spot. https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=642

To clarify, lichen is absolutely nothing to worry about. It indicates that the air in the area is of good quality 😊

Our mulberry tree is approx 9metres high and 5 metres wide. All of the leaves on all of the branches are affected by this bacteria. Can the tree be treated for this when the infection is so widely spread? We are not sure how old the tree is as it was well established when we bought our home. Many thanks for your help 🌱🍃

I would gather up and burn all fallen leaves in the autumn.

If there is grass growing up to the trunk remove it leaving a clear circle around the trunk 1m in diameter, water well and mulch with organic mulch.

In the early spring feed with fish, blood & bone and mulch again.

Water your tree well in dry periods ... really good soaking a couple of times a week minimum... many trees and shrubs are still suffering from the effects of last year’s drought and the drier than usual winter and spring.

Keeping your tree growing well is the best way to help it beat any infection.
