Box caterpillar question

Hello there, I found and removed a small patch of box caterpillars on an otherwise large and healthy box ball in a row of four. Is it safe to go ahead and clip the box balls as they need trimming or could trimming attract more moths? Thanks in advance.

    I don't think trimming it will attract more issues. You need to be more mindful about planting box plants in the south east. It's more than likely your shrub may have future attacks. Especially if you have had a patch, you need to inspect the branches and under leaves for signs like webbing. This can be difficult.
