Identification help please.

Hello，I'm new here.
I let this one grow in the garden because it was kind of interesting & I didn't recognize it. I've been waiting for it to flower so I could identify it. It got to 5 feet tall before it leaned over & started branching. Now oodles of buds.

    My French tarragon has never got that tall .., its less tasty cousin the Russian tarragon does get tall tho. 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Oodles of buds forming, makes me think Erigeron Canadensis, Horseweed. They self seed all over the place and can also get really tall.

    Does it taste like French tarragon? A bit aniseed like? I grow it as I love chicken in tarragon sauce. Mine gets about 4.5 ft high but flops over. Its too dark now for a pic.
