Hardy geranium Rozanne

In a previous post I complained about the sprawling nature of Geranium Rozanne but that very habit  has beautifully disguised a bed of ground elder. This horror is firmly entrenched in my garden and I have all but given up trying to get rid of it. However a single plant of Rozanne has, in its second year,  completely smothered the weed all summer and made that area a pleasure to look at. A temporary measure but one I’ll certainly  repeat next year.
