These have started growing in my garden any ideas I have been told sweet chestnut & elderberry not sure do I need to get them out while they are young saplings?

    It's up to you, depends on how much room you have, how close to the house and whether you like them

    That looks like Ash, get rid of as soon as possible.

    Definitely ash tree seedlings. Pull them out while you can, unless you have a very large garden.
