  • That's very kind @Fairygirl, I'd love some, although technically my partner would say this was "enabling" my budding addiction (see what I did there?) :)

Hi @Fairygirl it seems I managed to pick up a lime marmalade yesterday (I went back to sainsbo's later and it was sitting there enticing me) but I'd love a wodge of Alabama sunrise! If you have paypal PM me the email address and I'll send you some postage cash

Edit: oh and the purple one I bought yesterday is called "Wildberry"

Hi heucheraholics- when is the best time to take heuchera cuttings please? Is about now ok, or is spring better? 🤔 I've got a couple, which I bought a while ago from a church plant sale, they've grown quite well and I'd like to give it a try.
    Thank you!

I take bits off at any time @bullfinch. They're very adaptable  :)
It's more a case of pulling them apart rather than a cutting. The roots are like a rhizome on a mature plant.
I don't have Paypal or anything @mikeymustard, but it's ok. PM your address and I'll stick a bit in the post to you. I've got a little bit in a pot that I did recently which might do the job.  It's no bother  :)

  • ...ooops it looks two more varieties of heuchera (Coral Forest + Melting Fire) dropped in my basket on a quick visit to the garden centre.

  • @amancalledgeorge how can that happen? It's like they jump in of their own accord!
I potted up my two new babies yesterday and the purple one (wildberry) seemed really brittle - by the time I'd finished it only seemed half the size. Are some more delicate than others?
