Rose Help

Hello

I have a climbing or rambling rose, and all the growth us coming from one main cane. I am still seeing the occasional bloom and lots of new foliage. Should I be cutting back to rejuvinate now or waiting until next spring.

Thank you

Probably best to wait now until the spring.  As our weather conditions are so changeable and autumn is close.   To prune or cut back now, could result in lots of new growth but such new growth might not harden up enough to survive the dormant stage.

Leave any major pruning back or shaping until the rose is dormant, but no harm in lightly cutting back the odd wayward cane to give it a tidy up if you feel it needs it.
