Is this a delphinium?

could this be a delphinium? I don’t remember planting this but it’s suddenly sprouted a flower spike.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

    It does look like it. Wait until it flowers. It might be a wild variety but it looks pretty even if it is.

    Thanks joy, could a friendly bird have dropped this off for me or possibly it was a seed hidden in a pot of something else?

    It’s looks lovely, next year it will be even better, the only thing is you will need to protect it from slugs, as soon as it shows its head in the Spring, it will be chewed.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
