What shall I do with my Snow Queen Clematis

Can you help? I’ve had my Snow Queen Clematis for 4 years and this year I’ve had 10 flowers and this is the most I’ve had. I feed and water it and now it looks dead at the bottom???? What shall I do with it? 0

There could be some damage lower down to a stem, causing foliage to die back too, so it's worth taking a look. Some foliage damage is normal though.
Do you rejuvenate the soil in it every year?

If you can remove a good layer from the top every spring, and refresh it, that will help. Compost on it's own isn't enough either, for plants in pots long term. If you can use a soil based compost, that will help too, as it holds onto water better.
