like to know why my Hative de Niort shallot sets have gone purple, are they ok to show and use

    No idea and have never shown onions in my life but I have bought seeds for pink Niort onions because I couldn't find any for pink Roscoff so maybe pinky purple is the norm for this variety. 
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
