Lawn going patchy under next doors conifer.

Hey guys i put down a new lawn last year but the lawn is going patchy by the fence under the conifer in next doors garden. The house next door with the conifer in has been empty for a few years and no one knows who owns it. I've cut some branches off to give light and let more rain in but it still ain't recovering. Is there anything else i can do.

    The tree roots are drying the soil ... you need yo give the lawn there a regular good soaking.

    You'll also have to accept that it may never look great, unless the conifers are removed.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
