Unless you have another adjacent large wall/building, you'll have to spend a fair bit of time pruning a climbing hydrangea to fit that space. Without knowing what else is round about the wall you want to cover, it makes it hard to give suggestions. Having said that, clematis are the best bet for you. Again, it depends on the amount of access you have for pruning, tieing in etc, which is why it's necessary to have that info.
Group 1s and 2s require little to no attention once they're established, and may will be fine in shade. Group 3s get cut back in late winter/early spring, and there are loads which will be happy in shade - in fact, some perform better as their flowers can get bleached too much in sun. Nellie Moser is one which springs to mind - it's a Group 2 so doesn't need cutting back each year, and could be an ideal choice as it's readily available. Buy from a good source, and you'll get a healthy plant which is mature enough to plant out. Prep the ground properly first, and water well after planting. Potted plants can be planted at any time as long as the ground isn't frozen solid. On this forum, we always recommend Taylor's, Thorncroft and Hawthornes, which will give you a huge selection.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
