@LG_ .....that pondeteria gets everywhere 😉🤪
It does indeed, @chicky 🤣. See one, see them everywhere!

Lovely photos, @Dovefromabove - such a cleverly planted garden. You had the same heavy skies we did at Kew. BC's garden is on my wishlist to visit. One day.

I forgot to comment on here yesterday. Lovely set of photos Dove - glad you had a nice day out with Wonks.
My favourite pic by far is the orange/yellow combos of crocosmia etc in the fourth last photo of your last set. Lots of strong colour and structure in that  :)
Although we don't often have need of garden plants for very dry ground here, so many of those plants are suitable for all sorts of gardens. I often think people get hung up on that thought that 'if they're in that gravel garden they won't grow in more normal conditions' which is quite misleading.
Really useful resource for anyone starting out with a new garden or creating a new border etc.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Absolutely lovely plant choices and garden design.  A lot of work but a rewarding,  peaceful place to spend time.

Lovely photos. Glad you had a good day.

Pontederia doesn't get everywhere here in Dordogne. I searched for it for years, bought some in another area of France and it died a couple of years later.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
