Hardy Fuchsias

Can anyone recommend a fully hardy fuchsia? OH loves them and keeps hinting but are there any that can be called truly hardy? As in 'fine left in the garden no matter how cold it gets' hardy. I had a Lady Boothby that said hardy but it only lasted two years despite protecting it with mulch.

    I sent you hardy ones, you sent me Lady Boothby, she’s still going strong. Maybe you are a bit dryer where you live, they need a lot of water.

    Mrs Popple is the hardiest I know and can be grown in the ground. Survives up here in Scotland no bother. Puts on about 3-4 foot of growth every year. I cut mine down to about 3 ft at the back end every year.
