  • As you can see there is some existing growth that you can see on the right hand side. We have begun sawing the deed branches off. You may have to zoom in the photos to clearly see.

    I think I’d be tempted to crown that bank with Rosa rugosa ... it’d look lovely and smell glorious.

  • Thank you, I'll have a google of that now. The soil is full of stones, and it's depth is different due to the existing stone wall...
  • I personally think that'd look lovely as a rocky alpine area with heathers, sedums and campanula etc

    I know its not what you're asking but it just popped into my head and I couldnt hold it in 😂
  • I agree Cassie, we did consider planting and adding some stones. It just looks horrendous at the moment and even a quick fix would be great until we can have it done properly by a professional.
