Have I Killed off my new lawn!?

I recently laid my new lawn by laying down turf. I done all my research and prepped the ground well. After 3-4 weeks the grass was looking amazing! However, I think I've been over watering it and before long it looked like what i can only describe as rotting grass. When i realised that i was over watering it i stopped! Knowing my luck its been heavily raining ever since. Is my grass past the point of no return? will seeding it bring it back? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Stop panicking ... I’m pretty sure that’ll recover just fine. You can’t do anything about the rain ... but we’ll have a
sunny dry spell again before long.
Dont feed it or do anything other than cut it on a medium setting when it needs it, in dry spells only, and ....... don’t worry 😉
