Garden help

My Fastia Japonica is dying on one side only any help would be greatful It has been in the garden for 12 yrs

    A wide shot and a close-up photo of sick parts would be helpful for the experts here to maybe diagnose the problem.  I have a couple that are 4 years old in total shade and very healthy with zero attention other than an automatic water sprinkler every 3 days.  My newest 3rd one, in a slightly brighter dappled shade spot is doing nicely also.
