What are these they are all over my plants

Can anyone let me know what these flies are they are all over my pot plants never seen them before

It looks to me like a flying ant. They emerge all at once, once a year, and in a couple of days they shed their wings and die. They won't harm you or your plants.

Or maybe one of the picture wing flies. We'd need a clearer pic to tell much more sorry.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Hi there its fine my gardener friend sent me a link to different flies and its the Hawthorn Fruit Fly thanks anyway
