Is it ever too late to transplant tomato plant?

Is it too late to transplant a piccolo tomato plant? Also will this plant pot size be okay?

The problem might be that the plant would concentrate on developing more roots which will take energy away from setting fruit. So I’m not sure that it’s a good idea.....but otherwise that size pot looks muxh more suitable than the one it’s in.
  • It already has some small tomatoes growing already. When do you think would be the best time to replant?

The pot it's in should be ok if you put a gravel tray under it and keep it fed regularly. Keep the gravel topped up with water and that will help prevent blossom end rot etc.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Next year transplant your tomatoes much earlier, as soon as you see a root getting to base of pot then move them up a size.  You should aim to have them in final pot before they start flowering.

I don’t know that variety, is it meant to be a cordon or a bush type? I would keep it in the existing pot too, at this stage, but if you are worried that there is too much plant for the pot, you could remove one of the stems so it concentrates it’s energies into the others.

If the roots are coming out the bottom, i suppose you could put a bit of compost in the bottom of the container and insert the pot into the container and then put some more compost on top.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Yep, just do it, it'll be absolutely fine.
