What is this plant

Can anyone please tell me what plant this is?
I had a bag of wildflower seeds and this came up
The pods seem to explode!

    Someone else posted a similar photo ans it was a euphorbia lathyris

    Hi @julies25 and welcome :)

    It's Euphorbia lathyris ... aka Caper spurge ... it's seeds were probably lurking in the soil.

    It has a milky sap which can burn your skin, especially in bright sunlight, so if you pull it up wear long sleeves and gloves ... and don't get it anywhere near your eyes.

    I think it's quite a handsome plant in the right place, but do beware. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Mmm. Any plant with exploding seeds can be a menace. Himalayan balsam spreads this way. It started off as  a prized garden plant and now to some people is as bad as Japanese knotweed. I would be very vigilant so that it doesn't spread too much. Where the flowers pretty?
