Advice please?

Front, north -facing garden needs a tree in the circular space to the bottom left of this photo. I'd like something to complement the bay tree to the right of the photo i.e. similar size/shape  - but not another bay! Similar canopy height would be good too for underplanting. 

Any ideas very gratefully received! Thanks

    Viburnum tinus grown as a tree instead of a bushy shrub.

    How about a Pittosporum, Eleagnus or Euronymus?
