Magda North Scotland
We have recently acquired a building plot and I cut back a buddleia in April which had clearly been left for years without pruning. Healthy new shoots appeared and have grown quite long, but they are now falling over and some breaking off. Is there something wrong with the tree or is it just the bad weather (a lot of rain) and possibly the result of recent wind damage or is there something more sinister? Also, is it worth tying up the growth that is still alive but bent over?
