Used potato compost on lawn...

Hello,

Like many of us I have quite a lot of used potato compost from bags. I have to level a small area to prepare for sowing grass seed soon. Can I use the compost toward the levelling etc of the ground? I will sieve out the tiny pea sized potato’s first. Is it a crazy idea or worth a try recycling it for this use?

Many thanks
Jason

Yes, there's no reason why you shouldn't re-use it. It might not have a lot of nutrients left so you could mix it with some fertiliser perhaps.
