Pulmonaria

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
I've been thinning out my pulmonaria and,for the most part, removing plants with boring leaves.

If I sliced the top off some of the boring ones instead, would the leaves come back exactly the same, or is there a chance they'd be more spotty?

Plain leaves cut off...new leaves will be plain green.
Spotted leaves cut off...new leaves will be spotted.

If the boring ones have always been that way then any new leaves will be the same. If by boring you mean faded/weathered/mildewy/tatty, then fresh new leaves will look better.

Thanks all. By boring,I mean plain dull green or green with just a few spots.
The ones with 50%+silver or white ,I keep.
Absolutely no shortage of plants to choose from. They self-seed all over the shop😉
