The Danish book sounds wonderful for how it's composed! I've put both on the list, my birthday is coming up. Thank you, as always, for sharing your knowledge so freely! 'Mme. Alfred Carriere' is one I have actually, its fragrance is close to intoxicating with a wonderful freshness I would say. I only have about 8 different roses, three of which are inherited and I don't know what they are. Then there are 'Claire Austin', 'Albertine', 'Jazz', 'Emily Gray' and 'Mme. Alfred Carriere' (what a name!). I have taken notes from the 2019 rose season thread as well as your rose garden thread, but I may have to review them again. I know 'Kew Gardens' will be on the shortlist for sure, although the local garden center at one point only had a lot of 'Tottering-by-Gently' and no KG. And maybe a Lens rose, but I would probably have to order it ... I'm still a bit stuck in my ways and like to buy in a GC or at a rose grower.
From my unknown roses I'll add two pictures here @Marlorena .. (just in case one of them is easy to identify). The pink one looks similar in habit to Jazz, but with a much more reduced height - still 200cm easily. Annoyingly I'm not sure about its scent. The orange rose is small (140cm) and has a bit of a stiff habit, but I like its flowers.
@micearguers .... it's not possible to be certain from those photos.. but with your descriptions at a guess I would say the pink one is 'Queen Elizabeth'..a tall floribunda, and the orange one 'Warm Welcome'...which is a climbing miniature...as it's termed..
You have a nice selection of roses... I've had a few of those in the past... Tottering is growing on me this season... I wasn't sure about it before but I'm beginning to like it a lot...
