    Lovely 😊

cut it down by half in the autumn to prevent windrock and damage to the roots over winter ... then in March cut it down even further to around your knee height ... cutting to an outward facing bud

You’re not being mean to it 😉 ... it’s exactly what it needs to maintain a healthy shrub and keep its elegant fountain-like shape and stop it outgrowing your garden ... that way it’ll always be welcomed by you. 😊

    Weeds...

Just another day at the plant...
  • That is Dove From Above!! My next question was going to be how to tame it!! I will follow your advice and hope it’s as beautiful next year too!
  • Wow! Owd Potter! That is a stunning peacock! Weeds are the best huh!!

I haven’t had anything that impressive, but these two flutterbies are now daily visitors! Only problem is, they like coming inside to visit too!

    That's a very nice colour.

I have 2 dwarf 'buzz' plants- sky blue (just purple really) and ivory.
  • That sounds like a very pretty combination!! Your garden must be full of butterflies and bees!

Not the biggest border but it certainly buzzes, no pun intended...

  •  :D LOL!  Mine grows over the way to the back gate. I’ve walked into many angry bees!!
