Top one is a Hydrangea and the bottom one looks like a variegated weigela

I'm thinking 2nd one is euonymus but I'm rubbish at this identifying lark so probably wrong.

    I’ll 2nd that, both Weigela. .

  • Thanks all.  Snaps taken from someone’s front garden nearby.  One does look like Hydrangea but no flowers on it as yet whereas my own Hydrangea is in full bloom so I figured it can’t be that.

You will have to take a picture further away for 100% ID on the top one, looking at it though serrated edge leaf - yellow veins - green stem and the leaves look quite broad would suggest to me a hydrangea , it may of been prune incorrectly why its got no flowers.

I agree with Perki, the top photo is a Hydrangea, but pruned too late this year, therefore no buds right now.
