I've got worms!

Finally, worms have entered my compost heap. I've been waiting 3 years since we moved here, and seen no worms in there. Lots of worms in the soil though. 

So today I went out and stirred the compost and there were large tangles of them. I've been keeping it a bit wetter, I think that might be the reason as it's been so dry.

    Funny how these things delight us! I'm trying to create leaf mould for the first time and last year's bag had worms which was so welcoming to see!

    Yes Nora, made my day as I was considering going to a fishing tackle shop to buy brandlings.

    Lol @pansyface , I remember that one at school.
