    Perhaps you could send a photo so we could identify them, but I agree with Dove, they are behaving more like French beans.

    THANK YOU EVERYONE for your thoughts - much appreciated - and after double checking - we have decided they are dwarf beans!! :) so the mystery has been solved - many thanks
