Leaves turning yellow on new pineapple broom

i bought a new pineapple broom from a nursery last week. It looked perfectly healthy and in flower. I put straight into the ground with compost and bone meal and watered well. I’ve watered it once more since then but the leaves are starting to turn yellow. Is this just a case of over watering?

    Hello and welcome  @tracy_brown86 😊

It could well be too much water ... they need well drained light soil in a sheltered sunny spot.

  • Hi
We have just bought one of these having seen it at Wisley. Do you know if we can plant this in a pot, and if so what size should we be looking at?
    Thanks

I does grow very big for a shrub. Best in the ground I suggest.
