I buy plants from all over the place. Garden centres, nurseries, supermarkets, places like The Range , online (including the Secret Garden Club), gardens that l visit and shows such as Malvern and Gardeners' World Live.

Nine times out of ten I use Ashwood Nursery, if they don't have what I want I usually go online.  Rarely buy from Garden Centres as most of them I have been to have poor quality plants.

I’m lucky to have several really good nurseries within a 15 minute drive. I always try to use them for perennials and I have always found that the plants are stronger and come at a much better price, e.g. £6.50 for a 2L perennial I still go to GC for compost and invariably get sucked in by some beautiful plant. I also buy annuals from the GC
