Digitalis question

can anyone please tell me the name of the Red digitalis that Monty had on the show on friday 28th june, i've searched everywhere on the internet. I think its a new perennial but not sure.

    I'm no gardner but my wife was sure it was a red foxglove/digitalis and fairly new as she had not heard of one either

    there is something new about. Another hybrid, but not one of the Illumination series I don't think

    I haven't seen the programme but expect it was Digitalis x valinii 'Firebird'... it got 2nd at Chelsea Flower Show this year...

    Charles Valin of Thompson and Morgan has been trying to get us a hardier version of this for some years..... he brought out one called 'Ruby Slippers' which was sold as Digiplexis Illumination series 'Raspberry'... then 'Raspberry Improved'... neither of which were hardy... so now we have this new one... it's expensive if it only proves to be an annual... but if you're in Cornwall or by the coast... should be o.k... but -5C isn't hardy enough for me in East Anglia...
